ARTICLE 01

Principle

Wedge must be used only for lawful purposes, on your own behalf or with the valid authorisation of the person concerned. You must comply with the laws of your country and those applicable to the recipient.

ARTICLE 02

Prohibited activities

  • Fraud, scams, extortion, ransomware, money laundering or terrorist financing.
  • Human trafficking, exploitation, child sexual abuse material or serious harm to people.
  • Weapons, narcotics or other prohibited goods and services.
  • Circumventing sanctions, capital controls, court decisions or tax obligations.
  • Gambling, investments or financial services that are unauthorised where the law prohibits them.
  • Infringing intellectual property, selling counterfeit or deceptive products.
  • Raising funds for a banned organisation or a sanctioned person.
ARTICLE 03

Prohibited behaviour

  • Creating several accounts or splitting payments to circumvent a control.
  • Providing false information, or using a third party's identity, wallet or number without authorisation.
  • Testing, disrupting, abusively automating or attempting to compromise Wedge.
  • Reselling, renting out or commercially exploiting access without written agreement.
ARTICLE 04

Checks and cooperation

We may ask for information about a transaction, its recipient or the source of the funds. We may refuse, hold, cancel or report a transaction where a verification is incomplete or a risk is detected, within the limits of applicable law.

ARTICLE 05

Consequences

A breach may lead to a transaction being rejected, to a restriction, a suspension or a closure, and to cooperation with the competent providers, operators or authorities where the law requires it.

ARTICLE 06

Reporting abuse

Report any suspicious use promptly to contact@wedge.money with the relevant details. Never share a private key, a recovery phrase or a password.

ARTICLE 07

Scope of the policy

This Policy applies to any access to the Wedge site, app, support and features, including attempted transactions and conduct carried out through a third party.

ARTICLE 08

Duty of good faith

The user must act honestly, provide accurate information and use Wedge for its stated purpose. Any misleading presentation of a payment, a recipient or an activity is prohibited.

ARTICLE 09

Beneficial owner

The user must not conceal the person who actually benefits from the funds, nor act as a front. Wedge may ask for the identity of a recipient, the relationship and the economic rationale.

ARTICLE 10

Source of funds

The crypto-assets used must come from a lawful source. The user must be able to explain their origin and produce reasonable evidence where a check requires it.

ARTICLE 11

Sanctioned persons and countries

Using Wedge for the benefit of a person, entity, organisation or territory subject to an applicable prohibition is forbidden. A potential match may lead to a freeze or enhanced review.

ARTICLE 12

Bribery and influence peddling

Wedge may not be used to pay a bribe, a hidden commission, an improper advantage or a payment intended to unlawfully influence a public or private decision.

ARTICLE 13

Political funding

Any payment linked to a campaign, a party, a candidate or a political organisation must be lawful and transparent. Wedge may prohibit such transactions or make them subject to prior review.

ARTICLE 14

Donations and charities

Donations must be intended for a legitimate and authorised organisation. Opaque collections, those unregistered where registration is required, or those presenting a risk of diversion, may be refused.

ARTICLE 15

Unauthorised financial services

The user may not use Wedge to carry on, without authorisation, an activity of currency exchange, transfer, lending, investment, deposit-taking, asset management or financial intermediation.

ARTICLE 16

Gambling and betting

Payments linked to gambling, betting, lotteries or paid competitions are prohibited where they are unlawful, unauthorised or incompatible with the rules of the provider concerned.

ARTICLE 17

Regulated products

Payments for medicines, alcohol, tobacco, chemicals or other regulated goods must comply with the applicable licences, age restrictions and marketing rules. Wedge may exclude certain categories.

ARTICLE 18

Harmful content and services

Payments linked to exploitation, unlawful violence, hatred, harassment, non-consensual intimate content or any serious attack on the dignity and safety of others are prohibited.

ARTICLE 19

Cybercrime

Wedge must not fund, or receive the proceeds of, hacking, malware, phishing, data theft, unauthorised access, denial-of-service attacks or the sale of compromised credentials.

ARTICLE 20

Counterfeiting and third-party rights

Payments concerning counterfeit products, pirated content, stolen trade secrets or other infringements of intellectual property rights are prohibited.

ARTICLE 21

Commercial fraud

Fake investments, pyramid schemes, fake shops, sales with no intention to deliver, support impersonation and deliberately deceptive commercial practices are prohibited.

ARTICLE 22

Trafficking and exploitation

No transaction may be linked to human trafficking, forced labour, sexual exploitation, unlawful prostitution or the exploitation of a minor.

ARTICLE 23

Weapons and illicit substances

Payments relating to prohibited weapons, explosives, narcotics, precursors or substances whose sale is unlawful are strictly forbidden.

ARTICLE 24

Circumventing limits

Splitting, aggregating, re-routing or using several accounts, wallets or recipients in order to avoid a limit, a verification or a prohibition is forbidden.

ARTICLE 25

Automation and abusive load

No robot, script or automated tool may access the service without written authorisation. The user must not overload, scrape, probe or disrupt the infrastructure.

ARTICLE 26

Reverse engineering

Decompiling, circumventing a protection, extracting the code, reproducing an interface or searching for a vulnerability outside an expressly authorised security programme is forbidden.

ARTICLE 27

Account security

The user must immediately report a lost device, a suspicious sign-in or an unrecognised transaction. They must not share their access or allow a third party to circumvent the rules.

ARTICLE 28

Investigations and supporting documents

Wedge may request invoices, contracts, evidence of a relationship, screenshots or explanations. Refusal, unjustified delay or producing a falsified document may lead to a restriction.

ARTICLE 29

Reports and confidentiality

Wedge may pass a report to the competent authorities or partners where there is an obligation or a well-founded suspicion. The law may prevent us from telling the user the detail of that step.

ARTICLE 30

Review and appeal

A restriction may be reconsidered on a reasoned request sent to contact@wedge.money. Reconsideration does not guarantee that the measure will be lifted and remains subject to legal obligations and the decisions of the competent providers.
